Isles of Shoals Immersion: Teen program with Capt. Rob, July 1-3, 2013
We've been visiting the Isles of Shoals for years with kids, and often we are asked, "What it would be like to sleep on the island?" This summer, we'll find out! Imagine sleeping under stars, listening to the gulls beckon before dawn, and soaking in some rich and salty history as we swap pirate and ghostly tales of these historic islands. With a small group of teens, we'll camp overnight on Star Island, explore Smuttynose, and visit the Shoals Marine Lab on Appledore. We have just a handful of spots left. Teens aged 13-15 are invited to join us the week of July 1-3 (overnight July 2). The cost is $645 per teen; scholarships available. PLUM ISLAND TEEN WEEKÂ August 5-9, 2013
We'll spend a week of BOAT CAMP aboard the Captain's Lady boats with all teens, ages 13-15. We'll do plenty of fishing as well as plenty of swimming and exploring the Gulf of Maine with BOAT CAMP crew onboard. We will change up a few of our activities to make for a very meaningful experience for teens who have experienced our programs as youngsters in the past.
Program runs Monday through Friday, 8:30 to 4 p.m. and costs $475.
If either week is not convenient to your summer schedule, teens are welcome to join us on any of our other week-long programs.
