Go Wild! We celebrated nature’s launch into spring with our 3rd Annual BOAT CAMP Bash on Friday evening, February 1, 2013, at the Black Cow Tap & Grill on the Newburyport waterfront. Hand drumming with Zach Field, wild harvest heavy hors d’oeuvres, silent auction, and more!
The first week of February marks half-way between winter solstice and vernal equinox. Near what we know as Groundhog Day, the animals we love to see in summer will start migrating home to Newburyport. Striped bass, mackerel, whales, tuna, butterflies, songbirds and shorebirds will take flight and ride ocean or air currents, their destination long ago predetermined and their journey much anticipated. Celebrate with us!
Our 4th Annual Bash will be held on Friday, January 31, 2014.
This is our major annual fundraiser to benefit BOAT CAMP Nature School’s nature education programs, and you’re invited!
