Kids 2-5
BOAT CAMP By-the-Sea classes are held on Friday, Monday or Tuesday mornings, 9:30 a.m. to 11.
Winter Series starts January 27
Learning about the sea is fun at any age, especially as seen through the eyes of preschoolers! Our By-the-Sea program is a fun morning of stories, play, crafts and a snack. It is casual and very family-friendly, and a great way to build an early connection to nature.
Each week, we’ll read a story, learn about the day’s theme, have independent play and visit the animals in our saltwater touch tank. Class size is limited to 8 kids. Programming fills the first 45 to 60 minutes, with the last 30 minutes left for open play. Some kids are ready to depart after an hour, while others love to linger longer. (Infant and toddler siblings welcome at no additional cost.) This series is taught by mothers of young children for mother’s of young children who come together each week for a morning of learning and play that celebrates the sea.
Our winter series is runs for six weeks and costs $85.
Time: 9:30 to 11 a.m. (We will make every effort to accommodate requests to make-up missed classes, but we cannot issue refunds for missed classes.)
Class is limited to 8. (Younger siblings welcome at no additional cost, but may not be able to participate in each day’s craft.)
