3rd Annual Bash 2013

Save the date! Third Annual event will be February 1, 2013. Please contact us if you’d like to help plan the event–it’s easy and fun! Our first meeting will be held in mid-October.
The first week of February marks half-way between winter solstice and vernal equinox. Around February 2, on what we know as Groundhog Day, the animals we love to see in summer will start migrating home to Newburyport. Striped bass, mackerel, whales, tuna, butterflies, songbirds and shorebirds will take flight and ride the ocean or air currents, their destination long ago predetermined and their journey much anticipated.
We’ll celebrate the natural world’s launch into spring with a BOAT CAMP Bash on Friday, February 3, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Black Cow Tap & Grill on the Newburyport waterfront!
This private, invitation only fundraiser will benefit BOAT CAMP Inc.’s nature education programs, and you’re invited!
